Since Chas started to paint graffiti in 1989 his aim has always been to raise the bar bit by bit. First by painting in more daring places than others but nowadays it’s more about challenging himself on a creative level. Every painting has to be better than the last one.
An eye for detail and well-considered colour combinations are distinctive of his work.
Being a true graffiti artist the letters have always been the foundation of his work. Either on a raw concrete wall or an a canvas. Letters that have evolved, become transparant, and that have become one with the wild background they are painted on. Because for Chas graffiti is all about the Love for Letters.
