Born in The Netherlands, with Italian roots, Casroc lives and works in Belgium and The Netherlands. His agency and creative background are rooted in graffiti culture, and he got directly inspired being part of a larger psychological project that focusses on the recovery of prisoners with long term sentences after extreme hard acts of violence.
By deconstructing his graffiti practice, he depicts the underlying process which results into the separation of three components, [ visual – paint – surface]. Reinterpreting each individual component, underlying motives and hidden aspects of one’s personality are visualized that often unconsciously influence the way we think, act and behave on a daily basis.
